About EMGdotART Foundation
It is the first art and culture foundation which is set up by Chinese enterprise in Venice, Italy. The Chairman of the foundation is Marino Folin, Former Rector of the Università IUAV di Venezia during 1991-2006. Up to now, EMGdotART Foundation had curated over 200 culture and art exhibitions all over the world, including “Culture Union exhibition” at 55th Venice Art Biennale, “Adaptation –Architecture and Change in China” exhibition at 14th Venice Architecture Biennale, “Sharing and Regeneration” exhibition at 15th Venice Architecture Biennale and Milan Expo official project “Food is God” exhibition. About “The Next Architecture” Program
“The Next Architecture” Program is a series projects including global competition, conference, exhibition aiming to discover solutions and promote the development for the next generation architecture which is tech-empowered, innovative, multidisciplinary and capable of contribution to the transformation and up-gradation of cities. “The Next Architecture” Program is initiated by EMGdotART Foundation and co-founded by DADA (Digital Architecture Design Association of The Architectural Society of China), IAAC (The institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, Spain) and Urban Regeneration 2050. The first stage of program is an global archhitectural competition “The Next Architecture Award” which will be launched at this May in Venice Biennale.
